Welcome to Better Late Than Naked
A folk trio based in Lincolnshire.Folk in the sense that it is at folk clubs and festivals that they seek work, but their repertoire is as wide as that broad audience allows... And that's pretty wide nowadays.
Mark, Phil and John
Phil Biggs writes songs and plays guitar and mandola... Mark Addison also writes, and plays electric and acoustic bass (Usually Electric!)... John Blanks sings and plays guitar.
Their Roles
Phil and John are solo performers in their own right. Mark has been playing the same Fender bass for 35 years in all kinds of bands, but now plays exclusively in folk and roots music (and occasionally threatens an affair with a five-string Yamaha)
Other Projects
Mark and Phil play in the ceilidh band "Akmeds Camel" based in south Lincolnshire while John is in demand in the folk clubs in the north of the county. "Better Late Than Naked" (also the title of a solo CD of John's) is a chance for them to pool their talents and travel further afield.
